Taste of Salsa (intro)
This is a relaxed class in a restaurant atmosphere. The class is compliments of Loca Luna. NOTE: The same basic steps are instructed each week.

If you take this class your next step is SALSA LEVEL 1 which is a progressive series class that will teach you the fundamentals of Salsa dancing step-by step over a
4-week course. You do not need to take the "Taste of Salsa" intro class to register for Level 1.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a partner?
No. You do not need a partner to register, but we encourage early registration so that we can plan properly and keep even numbers of men and women in each class.

I know how to dance but not this style. Where do I start?
Even if you are a dancer from a different dance style, we suggest starting with Salsa Level 1 which helps you build a solid foundation.

How do I register?
1) Register online at www.salsambo.com click “Class Schedule”, pay for series of your choice
2) Register at our classes or events with cash, check, MasterCard or Visa.
3) Register over the phone with MasterCard or Visa.

Why are some classes longer than others?
Series are scheduled based on how many weeks are in the month and are structured progressively. The number of weeks does not matter because you are learning progressively with your specific class. Your instructor is available for advice on your progression.

Why can't I just drop into one class?
Our teaching style is progressive “step-by-step” learning. Students become better leaders and followers when they gain a solid foundation. This is achieved through progressive series and private instruction. We find that “drop-in” students are missing important information and basic technique that is required to be a good dancer.

What happens if I miss a class?
All series are pre-paid for specific dates/times.  If you do not show up - you loose the class.  There are no make up days for missed classes, however, we always review material at the beginning of each class.

What should I wear to class?
Dancing is exercise - be prepared to sweat by wearing comfortable clothing.  Dancers layer their clothes to stay comfortable.  Wear smooth bottomed shoes to easily turn and pivot.

How many dance levels are there?
Levels 1 through 4 are fundamentals. After you will continue to intermediate, advanced & performance level. We teach from absolute beginner to professional dancer.
